  1. USER MANAGEMENT

Module Intro

User accounts allow you to control how people access and use ePO. While user accounts and permission sets are closely related, they are created and configured using separate steps.

In this module, you will learn about the default permission sets that ePO provides, guidelines on using permission sets, and how to create, customize, and manage permission sets. You will also learn how to create and manage user accounts, the different options for account authentication, and ways to automate user account management, such as using Active Directory.

Module Objectives

By the end of this module, you should be able to:

  • Define user accounts and permission sets

  • Configure settings for users and permission sets

  • Edit, disable, and delete user accounts

  • Edit and export permission sets

  • Create users and assign permission sets
