Module Intro

After ePO is deployed, it is important to monitor your network’s security status on an ongoing basis. Keeping constant watch on your environment is a difficult task. Dashboards help you do this. ePO comes with its own querying and reporting capabilities, which are customizable, flexible, and easy to use.

In this module, you will learn the about the types of dashboards included with ePO that you can use immediately, how to create and customize dashboards, and recommendations for designing dashboards. You will learn how permissions control dashboard access and use and factors that impact dashboard load time. You will also learn how to use queries and reports to gather information about activities that occur on your ePO server and throughout your network.

By the end of this module, you should be able to:

• Identify the purpose of dashboards and monitors, as well as features and capabilities

• Identify default dashboards included with ePO

• Add and duplicate a dashboard

• Edit and assign dashboard permissions

• Query the ePO database

• Use the Query Builder to create your own queries

• Configure query permissions

• Export query data to view outside of ePO

• Identify the report management process
